The goat cheese is probably the best I’ve eaten in my life. The Jerk Hut in particular is amazing! The buffet has a decent selection and they are frequently refreshing dishes. But again, the staff (concierge staff, not the professionals) made me feel rushed (e.g., in the relaxation room - which was mostly empty - they would ask me every couple of minutes if I was ready to leave) We didn’t try every restaurant (my husband is a picky eater) but everything we ate was good. The spa is lovely - wonderful hydrotherapy facilities and the treatments I had were great. So kind, went out of their way to make you happy (I swear Loraine found a coconut off property and brought it to me on a non-coconut guy day). However, the rest are truly stellar - in particular I’ll shout out Loraine at the pool, Sashorna, Shenoya, Tavon, and Zanue at Buccaneer’s, Crystal at the towel hut, and nearly all of the Boulangerie staff, but especially Ishmael. They serve you but they are slow, unsmiling, like it’s a chore. The staff that is nice is wonderful, but I felt that many are not thrilled to be there. I was more interested in a balcony than a jacuzzi, we were in Tower 2 which is older but not dated. The rooms are Palace standard, but most do not have the jacuzzi tub, if that matters to you. The property is comfortably sized - not overly big but still a good selection of restaurants and activities, and it’s not much effort to walk from one end to the other. Started the review with talking about the great staff and would like to end with naming some that made our vacation a blast, Lasonya at the Entertainment Hall, Kimono at the Piano Bar, Austin and Anthony at Momo's, Rene and Damion at the Pool and of course Menece.… Totally enjoyed the non motorized water options like the paddle boats. With the exception of one night, we attended the nightly entertainment and enjoyed every one of them. Our favorite restaurant was the La Gandola. Our favorite meal was the Jamaican style red snapper dinner prepared by the wonderful staff at Pier-8.what a wonderful and delicious meal. Every meal was delicious, and dinners became a feast as Jason the sommelier made pairing our wines with the meals an experience. Our Diamond staff were spot on with all our needs, George who had all our itinerary setup prior to our arrival, Keisha who set up our appointments and excursion, Marvin who introduced us to Jamaican food and his great vocals, Kamar who was always there by the pool with help and drink and of course Mellisa who manages an excellent staff. From the moment we arrived to our departure the staff there were very welcoming and very friendly. The resort's location gives it a perfect view of the beautiful cove with mountain in the distance. This was our 2nd visit to the resort this year. My husband and I decided to sign up for the VIP Palace Elite experience whilst we were there and we look forward to visiting the other hotels within the chain. Truly a five (5) star rating hotel chain. This is by far the Best quality, value for $ and location for a vacation. feel like extending my stay for a further 5 days. 5 days was not enough to fully experience all that Moon Palace Jamaica had to offer. This hotel really delivered on the saying "home away from home". There were many activities and services catering to kids, teens, young adults and adults. Extensive food & drink selection, great services, entertainment, facilities and the most amazing staff! Every encounter with employees at this hotel was professional, attentive, and exceeded our expectations. I have been to many all-inclusive vacation hotels and this is by far the best all-inclusive experience my husband and I have had. Most comprehensive all-inclusive experience you can have.
